Six ways to work together.
All of it is one-to-one or semi-private, programmed in writing, and reviewed on a schedule. Pick the one that matches where you are now.
One-to-one strength training
The core of it. Private sessions, a written programme that progresses week to week, and a coach who knows what you lifted last Tuesday. Two or three sessions a week is where almost everyone lands.
Semi-private for two
Train with a partner or spouse. Same programming standard, shared hour, lower cost each - and a built-in reason to turn up.
Return from injury
For people cleared by a physio but not confident loading again. Conservative progressions, honest about what hurts, and a clear line about when something needs a clinician instead.
Strength for runners and cyclists
Two lifting days built around your mileage rather than in competition with it. For the Greenway and river-trail crowd who have the engine and none of the chassis.
Over-50 strength
Muscle and bone density are use-it-or-lose-it after fifty. Unglamorous, highly effective, and the single best predictor of how independent you'll be at eighty.
Programme-only coaching
You train yourself, I write and adjust the programme monthly with video review. For disciplined people who don't need a spotter, only a plan.
How it works
From first email to first session.
Free consultation
Twenty minutes. Training history, what hurts, what you've tried, what you actually want. If I'm not the right fit I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Assessment session
Movement screen, baselines, and real training. You leave with the plan written down.
Training blocks
Eight-week blocks, two or three sessions a week, with a short written check-in at the end of each.
Reassess and adjust
We compare numbers against where you started and change the programme on evidence rather than instinct.
Book a free consultation
Twenty minutes, no charge, no pitch. Tell me what you want to be able to do and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to get you there.
You send this form
What you want, when you can train, anything that hurts.
We talk for twenty minutes
Phone or in person. I'll ask about training history and what's failed before.
First session
Movement screen and a baseline. You leave with a written plan.
